In April 2015, Jason Gordon was informed the cancer he had been fighting for 3 years was terminal. Jason made a list of the things he would like to do before his passing, as his remaining time with family and friends was unclear, but he was determined to make that time count. Alex, now ADIMS Agency Founder, reached out to Jason after reading his story to organize something special for him and his friends.
Jason, his twin brother Jake, and their closest friends were picked up in a limo and driven to Toronto. The first stop was FYINK where Jason and Jake got their initials tattooed on them by the talented Scoot Mason. Next stop was lunch where Toronto’s young and stylish hangout, El Furniture Warehouse. This is where Jason was surprised with gifts. He, as well as each of his friends, received matching chains and pendants from Vitaly Design and Jason received a shirt and mask directly from Eminem’s camp and record label. Jason also received gifts from Vans Canada and Herschel. To close out the night the group was treated with VIP status at the exclusive Rooftop Agency & Jägermeister North by Northeast (NXNE) BBQ. Jason and his friends got the listen to live music and rub shoulders with some of the music industries elite.
Jason’s father, Tony Gordon, told Alex that he believes Jason lived longer as a result of the experiences that were put together for his son. The real evidence was the smiles on Jason, Jake, and their friend's faces that day. For that one day, they all got to forget about cancer, treatments, and the prognosis. The entire day was recorded for Jason to share with his family and friends.
A Day In My Shoes Agency is in loving memory and honour of our friend, Jason Gordon.
